Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 30, 2026
Short version: we only collect what you choose to send us through a form, we use it to reply and do the work you asked for, we run no advertising or analytics trackers, and we never sell your data.
Who we are
Shorebreak is a web design studio based in San Diego, California. This policy explains what information we collect through shorebreak.net, how we use it, and the choices you have. If you have any questions, email sales@shorebreak.net or call (858) 322-0509.
What we collect
We collect information in two ways:
- Information you give us. When you submit our project brief, booking, or contact forms, we collect what you enter — typically your name, email address, phone number, business name, city, project details, and any files you choose to upload (for example a logo or reference images).
- Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our hosting provider keeps basic server logs (such as IP address, browser type, and the pages requested) for security, spam prevention, and reliability. We do not use these logs to build advertising profiles.
We do not run advertising pixels, behavioral ad networks, or third-party analytics that track you across sites. See our Cookie Policy for details.
How we use your information
- To respond to your message and answer your questions.
- To prepare mockups, quotes, and proposals you request.
- To deliver and support the services you hire us for.
- To send service-related communication (for example, project updates or invoices).
- To keep the site secure and prevent spam and abuse.
We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Who processes your data for us
We use a small number of trusted providers to run our business. They process data only to provide their service to us:
- Netlify — website hosting and form delivery. Form submissions are routed to us through Netlify Forms.
- Stripe — payment processing for deposits and care-plan billing. Stripe handles your card details directly; we do not store full card numbers.
- Email — we use standard business email to correspond with you.
How long we keep it
We keep form submissions and client records for as long as needed to respond to you, deliver our services, and meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations. When information is no longer needed, we delete it or retain it only in backups that age out over time. You can ask us to delete your information at any time (see below).
How we protect it
The site is served over HTTPS and uses security headers to reduce common web risks. We limit access to your information to people who need it to do the work. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect what you share.
Your choices and rights
You can email sales@shorebreak.net at any time to:
- Ask what personal information we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct or update it.
- Ask us to delete it.
- Opt out of non-essential communications.
We honor these requests regardless of where you live, and we will not discriminate against you for making one. We also respect browser-level Global Privacy Control signals.
Children's privacy
Our site and services are intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle your information, we will update this page and revise the "last updated" date above. If we ever add analytics or other tracking, we will update this policy and our Cookie Policy first.
